Contracted to produce an overall railway systems’ safety case on behalf of the operator of the Athens Metro system in order to support early opening of the Line 2 extension between Dafni and Ag. Dimitrios.

The scope of the assessment included:

• Rolling stock
• Signalling and automatic train protection
• Automatic train supervision/control
• All electrical and mechanical plant
• Train radio
• Extension/base project interfaces
